Unfortunately a housemaid robot hasn’t emerged beyond the prototype stage, yet, so for most of us domestic chores remain just that – an off-duty errand. One in particular that no-one likes doing is the making of the bed. Just try getting the kids to do it? Quite often it's greeted with a groan, especially from the kids, as generally the only time we have spare to make the bed is a rush before work or school, or on our days off.
Thankfully there are some considerate designers such as Ecosleep Australia who have come up with a simple remedy to decrease the at-home workload.
Dealing with this dilemma personally on a daily basis, busy mother-of-four, Jane Tepper was inspired to design the new Coshee System of bedlinen. Tepper dreamed of a simple solution to the endless daily bed making and huge task of washing five doonas. In her bid to realise that dream, she devised the unique system that simply attaches the top-sheet and the quilt cover together with hidden snap lock press studs. It really is that simple. So simple in fact, you can hardly believe no-one thought of it sooner.
Aside from cutting down bed making times, it also means your bed always looks stylish and ready for those surprise home visits.
Keeping in line with the brand's eco philosophy, the new system also claims to save on washing. Now there’s no need to wash your entire duvet cover, just unclip the sheet from the doona cover using the cotton tags to pull it apart.
On top of that, you won’t have to wrestle with bunched-up sheets anymore either. The snap locks hold the top sheet snuggly in place for a perfect finish. And you can rest easy because Coshee is also made from all-natural cottons and eco-friendly bamboo/cotton with a 400 thread count.
Here’s how the Coshee system works:
• Simply “snap” the Coshee top sheet to the underside of the Coshee duvet cover.
• Fold the Coshee top sheet over the top of the duvet cover and snap shut.
• Now your Coshee top sheet and duvet cover are attached allowing you to easily make a perfect looking bed every morning with no messy top sheet hanging out.

As an interior designer I do not like to see the under sheet folded over the doona as it breaks the flow of the colours in the doona cover with the matching decorative pillows. It is a good idea, I wonder if there is a day design which does not need to have the sheet folded over.
