Award-winning NSW based artisanal furniture venture Dunstone Design has confirmed it will take part in Australian International Furniture Fair for the first time next February.
Founder Evan Dunstone said the company would utilise its presence at the fair to target the architecture and interior design sector.
"Most of our appeal is that we occupy the boutique fine furniture market but can also handle reasonable volumes more than a sole player, for example. We can also expand to meet demand if need be."
"Say a really high end restaurant in Sydney wanted us to do a fit out for them, we could create a range of exclusive chairs and tables within a reasonable commercial time frame. Of course, you have to pay for onshore craftsmanship, but it's certainly within our abilities."
Dunstone Design, which creates contemporary furniture from the Australian timbers and materials, won the Australian Furniture of the Year Awards 2009 in Perth for its Werriwa lounge, in the Excellence in Furniture using Leather category.
Dunstone's product range will be on show at Australian International Furniture Fair from 2-4 February 2011 at Sydney Exhibition Centre.
