Innovation is key to success in any industry, but Centrum Furniture consider it a vital part of their continued growth. Founded by Dwi and Christin Herlambang, Centrum Funiture is a leading hand-made solid-wood furniture manufacturer in Indonesia and Australian wholesaler. Their speciality is their diversity, with influences from Amsterdam and Milan to Chinese-inspired pieces with authentic oriental designs. “All of our furniture is made by our professional craftsmen that already have years of experience in producing high quality furniture,” says Christin.
However it’s their desire to develop new designs that keeps the company ahead of the competition, such as their new leather foot stool range launched this year. Their extensive product range also incorporates everything you could need for the home, including cabinets, coffee tables, dining, daybeds and dressers to essential accessories such as mirrors, hall stands and lighting.
“We are also starting to introduce new timber such as oak timber, we really concentrate on quality that is our strength, we keep having new designs as quick as possible and they are very affordable for the quality,” says Christin. “Every product is made from timber that has been kiln dried in our own kiln that adopted "Dehumidifaction Drying System. We treat the timber with a non-residual effect chemical to eliminate any kind of insects and bugs and prevent its re-infestation during production process.”
Christin says price is one of the most important factors that influence the customer's decision in making a purchase so they make a point of keeping these affordable. “We aspire to bring our customer new products so every year we come up with new things at the lowest price possible, without compromising our standard and quality.” she says.
Centrum Furniture is already in the design room working on new products to launch at the upcoming Australian International Furniture Fair at the Sydney Exhibition Centre from 1-3 February 2012.
