UK furnishings icon at D+D

Carroll & Wiggins Imports will showcase a range of designs from UK Fabric Designer, Vanessa Arbuthnott at D+D Melbourne, held 15 - 18 July held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. The company is the exclusive agent for Arbuthnott in Australasia.

Founding her business from her kitchen nine years ago, Vanessa Arbuthnott has established herself as an innovative designer and manufacturer of quality linen furnishing fabrics in the UK, and counts Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles among her customers.

Her nature inspired collections include 100 per cent organic cotton fabrics, oilcloth-look PVC coated cottons, co-ordinating wallpapers, fabric based wall coverings and 100 per cent wool rugs.

Linen is sourced from Belgium and France, and organic cotton from Turkey, while the wool for rugs comes from specific small holdings in the UK, with the rugs loomed on the last rug weaving mill in Wales. Colourful and nature inspired designs complemented with spots, dots, stripes and checks are a signature of the designer's handwriting.

Based in Castlemaine, Victoria, Carroll & Wiggins Imports is a partnership between Tina Carroll and Lorraine Wiggins, who have built an extensive reputation for their expertise in design, furnishings, decorating and business.
